From the MFD home page, tap System - System Status to locate the System ID and software version (Main Software Version).

GTN 6XX & 6XX Xi Series

From the Home page, touch System - System Status - System Info. The System ID and Main Software Version are displayed toward the top.

G1000 & G1000 NXi

From the Auxiliary (AUX) Page Group, select the System Status page. The System ID is in the Airframe window at the top-right. The version listed next to MFD1 or PFD1 (GDU software version) in the LRU INFO window on the left is the version that's important to have when ordering database updates. Press the LRU soft key to place the cursor in the LRU INFO window and use the large FMS knob to scroll down the list.

G2000, G3000, G5000 series

From the Touchscreen Controller, tap Utilities - Setup - Avionics Status. The System ID is on the Airframe tab. The version listed next to MFD1 or PFD1 (GDU software version) on the LRU Info tab is the version that's important to have when ordering database updates.

GPS 175/GNX 375/GNC 355/355A

To locate the System ID, from the home page, tap System - System Status. The System ID is toward the top. The software version (Main Board) is also displayed here, as well as at the top of the start-up page when the unit powers up.

Press and hold the Dual Rotary Knob. Select System - Info. The software version is displayed at the top.

Press the MENU key twice to access the Main Menu. Select Database Information and press the ENT key.

Press the MENU key twice to access the Main Menu. Touch the Tools button. Touch the Database Information button.

Aera 660

From the Main Menu, touch the Tools icon, then touch the Database Information icon. The Unit ID is near the bottom of the list. The software version is near the top of the list.

Aera 760

From the Main Menu, touch the Tools icon, then touch the System Info icon. The Unit ID is near the bottom of the list. The software version is near the top of the list.

Aera 795/796

From the Main Menu, touch the Tools icon, then touch the Database icon. The Software Version and Unit ID are near the bottom of the list.

GPSMAP 695/696

Press the MENU key twice to display the Main Menu. Use the FMS joystick to scroll down to Database Information, then press the ENT key to select Database Information. The Unit ID is near the bottom of the list. The software version is near the top of the list.
