This article explains Status messages which we display in the JDM Download Reset feature in the Customer Support Portal. Note: you must be signed-in on the Customer Support Portal in order to use this feature. Access the JDM Download Reset at https://support.jeppesen.com/jdm/counter_reset.

Overview - we use three distinct 'Status' messages:

  • Not Resettable
  • Recently Reset
  • Support Case

Details - Statuses explained:

a. Not Resettable

Services and Subscriptions that cannot and need not be reset for downloads in the JDM application are marked as 'Not Resettable'. These services are generally not reset-able. Services which are included in this category are Collins Aerospace and Honeywell data subscriptions and also all services which are tied to the Garmin Avionics ID. 'Not Resettable' services are shown as greyed out:

b. Recently Reset:

This tag appears for any service that you have reset within the last 24 hours. By clicking on 'Recently Reset,' you can review the details of the download reset in form of a support ticket (case):

c. Support Case:

If something goes wrong after you request a download reset for data subscriptions, we log a support ticket (case) and our support teams will contact you with a solution.
