CAUSE:
Jeppesen is aware of an issue with macOS Sonoma 14.0-14.3 that can result in errors or SD card and USB flash drive corruption during transfers when the uncommonly used FAT16 file system is used on SD cards and USB drives. To date, it is known that this issue with macOS Sonoma 14.0-14.3 causes errors or USB flash drive corruption during transfers for the Avidyne EX500, EX600, and EX5000 NavData, which results in the Low and High Obstacles files not transferring to the USB flash drive.
RESOLUTION:
This issue no longer occurs in macOS Sonoma, as of version 14.4.
