Unable to log into JDM for Mac -- Error Message "http://127.0.0.1:8082/login.html"

ERROR:
After opening JDM for Mac, the normal login screen does not appear. Instead, the screen is white and shows the URLhttp://127.0.0.1:8082/login.html

CAUSE:
There are three potential causes:
  • There was a lapse in internet during the previous session
  • Security settings or computer settings are blocking the normal log in page
  • Sometimes, on a Macbook, the laptop was closed shut and you did not log out of JDM
RESOLUTION:

Before trying anything else, simply restart your Mac as this is the easiest solution.
The next step is to make sure there were no changes to the computer recently (such as increased security). If so, revert these settings and try again

If the above is not applicable, or the above solution does not work, uninstall JDM and reinstall the application fresh from our website HERE.
