1. What does STREAM stand for?
Secure Technical Records for Electronic Asset Management
2. What do I need to do when there is a STREAM Interactive Upgrade?
No user action is required. Customers will be informed when an upgrade is due to take place. Once completed, it will initiate an update the next time a user loads the application.
3. Can I transfer an asset(s) data to another STREAM environment?
If a customer is interested in transferring their asset(s) into another customer’s STREAM environment this is possible through an Asset Transfer. For further details, please contact your dedicated Customer Account Manager.
4. What information is required to create a new STREAM Interactive user?
New users can be created by an Administrator in the administration section of the application. Minimum required data includes name, email address and access period. An administrator is also able to restrict access to certain assets/permissions. The AerData helpdesk can also assist with larger user creation requests. Any request received will require approval from an Authorized Requester before access is granted.
5. What file types are supported to view in the application?
STREAM will display PDF/Tiff/Jpeg/PNG. File types which are not supported can still be uploaded into STREAM and exported from the application.
6. Does AerData provide a data uploading service where records can be uploaded into the STREAM applications?
Yes, AerData has a dedicated and experienced team that can upload records as per customer requirements.
7. I work with an M&E system, does STREAM allow integration?
Yes, STREAM can integrate with various M&E systems via our APIs. We can receive feeds for planned and completed Workpackage data, allowing for automated processing of all M&E generated maintenance documentation and also for paperless e-sign WO documentation.
8. Can my data be exported onto a USB/hard drive?
Yes, AerData provides a service where data can be exported to a USB/hard drive in a STREAM format. For further information please contact the Customer Support Team.
9. How do I reset my password?
Each customer will have dedicated Administrators who can reset passwords within the application administration section. If you require further assistance, an email can be sent to the AerData helpdesk (helpdesk@aerdata.com).
10. Can I scan documents into the application?
Scanning is available in the STREAM Interactive application. A user with the assigned permission can click on the ‘Scan Documents’ button and engage the scanning module.
11. What type of exports are supported?
Single & Multiple PDF exports are supported. A user can also choose to Multi Export to ZIP.
12. Can I install STREAM Interactive without going over the internet?
Yes, a zip file of the application can be provided to deploy onto your local hard drive. You will need the internet to access the application once installed.
