PROBLEM:
While updating the Garmin G1000 avionics system you receive the following (or a similar) message:
"G1000 card is for a different system ID".
CAUSE:
The data card which was previously used on another Garmin G1000 system, or the System ID applied to your Jeppesen services does not match the System ID of the Garmin G1000.
RESOLUTION:
Refer to the following articles to verify the System ID applied to your Jeppesen services matches the System ID of the Garmin G1000:

If the System ID does match, you may be able to resolve the problem by formatting the data card to remove any files referencing an incorrect System ID, but only Garmin Support can advise if this can be done with your data card.
