"Chart data is disabled" on a Garmin panel mount or portable device

PROBLEM:
One of the following messages is displayed on the Power-up Page of a Garmin panel mount or portable device:
"Chart data is disabled"
"ChartView disabled"
CAUSE:
The ChartView database is revised every 14 days. Charts are still viewable during a period that extends from the cycle expiration date to the disables date. ChartView is disabled 70 days after the expiration date and is no longer available for viewing upon reaching the disables date.
RESOLUTION:
Load the latest ChartView database into the device. If problem persists, check the system time and date of the unit to ensure it's correct.
