Can Jeppesen Distribution Manager (JDM) write databases to the Garmin Flight Stream 110/210/510 MMC cards?

The Flight Stream 110/210 cards cannot be used for database updates, as they do not have enough storage capacity.

JDM can write databases to the Garmin Flight Stream 510 (multimedia MMC card) in the same manner as a traditional SD card. However, some memory card readers may not be able to read or write to the Flight Stream 510 card due to the higher current requirements of MMC cards. Garmin supplies a compatible, Transcend-brand card reader with the Flight Stream 510 card, and it's recommended that this card reader be used.

JDM does not support wireless updates with the Garmin Flight Stream 510.

Please also be aware that some Garmin panel mount devices, such as the Garmin G1000 NXi with Software Versions GDU 20.59 and earlier, may not see databases (or will encounter syncing issues) whenloading databases directly to the Flight Stream 510 using a computer. Refer to Garmin Service Advisory 22060 Rev A: Loading Databases.
