How to re-download Jeppesen charts in the Garmin Pilot app

If Jeppesen charts are not updating or available in the Garmin Pilot app, the Jeppesen account may be deactivated and reactivated within the app to force the charts to download again.

Note:
Garmin Pilot Premium Subscription Required for Jeppesen charts

  1. Open the Garmin Pilot app
  2. Select Home > Settings > Jeppesen
  3. Find the line for Active License and select Deactivate next to the serial number

  1. Confirm deactivation by selecting Deactivate

  1. Active License should now show "No Active License"
  2. Select "Activate a License"

  1. Find the serial number for the desired license and select "Activate"

Select Activate next to desired Serial Number

  1. This should start downloads for the coverage area automatically
  2. Select Downloads to view the download progress or Dismiss to return the Garmin Pilot app

Select Dismiss or Downloads

  1. When downloads are complete, the missing or out-dated charts should be available and current within the app.
