Configuration Administration Tool (CAT)

The Configuration Administration Tool (CAT) is a hosted application used to carry out custom configuration of the Boeing Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) menu and its applications, then package these custom configuration files for publishing through the Data Distribution and Management (DDM) system.

Using CAT, ground personnel can:

Create custom configuration files containing a company’s EFB menu layout.
Create custom configuration files containing display settings and other features for the EFB airborne applications.
Part number and package the configuration and data files in accordance with a company’s internal standards.
Send the packaged files to DDM for publishing to their fleet.
