Light green: Current data is in use.

Dark green: Two sets of data are available. The data indicated by the light green bar is the data currently in use by the application.

Amber: Current data is in use and an update is available.

The beginning of this period is:

• Enroute: 7 days prior to the expiration date of the enroute database in the application.
• Terminal Charts: 0000 UTC on the Friday of the charts revision week.
• Manuals: Depending on the terminal charts revision schedule (bi-weekly or weekly) and the type of manuals (standard or tailored), this may either fall on the same date/time as the Terminal Charts, or may fall on the following Friday at 0000 UTC.

Light red: Data is not current, and an update is available.

The beginning of this period is:

• Enroute: The expiration date of the enroute database in the application. (2400 UTC on Wed.). This date cannot be modified.
• Terminal Charts: 23 hours after the update is available (beginning of the amber period). This can be modified using the OperatorPolicyDays and/or OperatorPolicyHours settings in the Customer Configuration File.
• Manuals: 23 hours after the update is available (beginning of the amber period). This can be modified using the OperatorPolicyDays and/or OperatorPolicyHours settings in the Customer Configuration File.

Dark red: Data is not current, and the next update has not been downloaded or is not available to download.

The following example shows how the amber grace period can be extended from the default of 23 hours using the Customer Configuration file. Refer to the Managing Options section of the FliteDeck Pro Administrator Guide for more information.
