Important: FliteDeck Pro must first be initialized with iPadOS to share flights, and currently, the app only requests access through iPadOS when you attempt to share a flight. If FD Pro is not listed in the Local Network settings, return to the app and attempt to share a flight. There doesn't need to be another device around to receive a flight plan.
If "No nearby iPads running FliteDeck Pro found" displays when attempting to share a flight in FliteDeck Pro, try the following:
- Verify both devices are running FliteDeck Pro. Sharing flight info can occur between all FliteDeck Pro versions.
- Verify Allow Flight Sharing and Local Network permissions are enabled in the application settings for FliteDeck Pro. The Local Network setting can also be accessed from the application settings by going to Privacy & Security > Local Network. Verify FD Pro is listed and enabled.
Note: This setting may be overridden by your airline. - Verify both devices have Wi-Fi network enabled.
