A Customer-inserted Chart (CIC) appears skewed/misaligned in a Trip Kit

PROBLEM:
When generating a Trip Kit, a Customer-inserted Chart (CIC) does not display correctly and appears to be misaligned or skewed. In some instances, only the edge of the original chart will appear.

When exporting the chart to a PDF within Ground Controls, it may be aligned correctly, but a company logo at the top will be cut off and have vertical lines in it.

CAUSE:
This can occur if the page size of the chart was reduced by cropping the PDF within Adobe Acrobat, as shown in the following images:

In the following image, the first chart is the original chart PDF at 8.50 x 11.00 in. The second version of the chart is after the PDF page size was reduced to 5.750 x 8.500 in. by cropping it in Adobe Acrobat.

RESOLUTION:
When creating Customer-inserted Charts (CIC), do not adjust the page size by cropping in Adobe Acrobat. Instead, adjust the page size in the application used to author the chart (e.g. Microsoft Word), before converting it to PDF.
