PROBLEM:
Custom (CIC) charts display correctly in Ground Controls, but display or render incorrectly in FliteDeck Pro. For example, colored overlays may not show up when viewing the chart in FliteDeck Pro.
CAUSE:
The PDF contains separate, layered objects that FliteDeck Pro isn't able to render correctly.
RESOLUTION:
- De-layer or "flatten" the PDF using your authoring tool.
or
- Use the Microsoft PDF format. To use this format for your PDFs, select the print operation from your authoring tool and choose Microsoft Print to PDF from the list of printers. Publish this new PDF file to Ground Controls.
or
- When importing the chart into Ground Controls, select the Convert to TCL option.
